Indian cricketers Prithvi Shaw and Yuzvendra Chahal were recently seen in action at the ongoing One-Day Cup in England. The two played for Northamptonshire in the 50-over competition and shared with fans how they were spending time off the field.

With Northamptonshire failing to qualify for the quarter-finals, Shaw and Chahal are enjoying a short break ahead of the upcoming County Championship (Division Two). The two used their respective social media handles to give fans a glimpse of what they've been up to in England.

Shaw shared an Instagram story on Saturday, August 17, in which Chahal can be seen taking a nap in the passenger seat of a car. Shaw cheekily wrote that the leg spinner was sleeping peacefully as he had full faith in the opening batter's driving skills.

Northamptonshire finished at the penultimate spot in the Group A points table at the One-Day Cup, winning just two out of their eight fixtures. Prithvi Shaw was the leading run-getter for the team in the edition, amassing 343 runs from eight outings.

Yuzvendra Chahal featured in Northamptonshire's playing XI for their final fixture of the ongoing One-Day Cup against Kent. He made a significant impact with the ball in the encounter, bagging a five-wicket haul.

The crafty spinner registered stunning figures of 10-5-14-5, claiming the wickets of Jaydn Denly, Ekansh Singh, Grant Stewart, Beyers Swanepoel, and Nathan Gilchrist.

Kent were bowled out for a paltry score of 82. Northamptonshire ended their campaign with a consolation win, chasing down the modest total in just 14 overs with nine wickets in hand.

Yuzvendra Chahal will now be seen in action during the Divison Two County Championship matches, where he will play five matches for Northamptonshire. The side will take on Middlesex at Northwood from Thursday, August 22.
