Gujarat Titans (GT) beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by three wickets in match number 37 of IPL 2024 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Sunday, April 21.
Bowling first, GT did an excellent job restricting PBKS to 142. They were not convincing in the chase but crossed the finish line in 19.1 overs.
Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bat first, but Titans bowlers proved too good for them on the day. Left-arm spinner Sai Kishore was outstanding with 4-33, while Noor Ahmad and Mohit Sharma picked up two wickets each. GT were in a spot of bother in the chase, but finisher Rahul Tewatia (36* off 18) held his nerve to take the team home.

GT have scores to settle with DC

Delhi Capitals are eighth in the points table, with three wins and five losses in eight matches. They have won two of their last three matches, but in their most recent encounter, they went down to Sunrisers Hyderabad by 67 runs.
Batting first, SRH put up another strong show and posted 266-7. In their chase, DC were held to 199 all out.
Before the defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad at home, Delhi beat Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets in Lucknow and Gujarat by the same margin in Ahmedabad.
