When is the India vs Pakistan match in the Women's Asia Cup 2024?
The 2024 edition of the Women's Asia Cup will be held from July 19 to July 28 in Sri Lanka. All the matches of the T20 tournament will be played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla.
There have been eight editions of the Women's Asia Cup so far, with the first four being played in the ODI format. India have been dominant in the tournament, winning seven of the eight titles.
India will begin their title defense in the Women's Asia Cup with a Group A match against arch rivals Pakistan in Dambulla on Friday, July 19. The much-hyped clash will get underway at 7:00 PM IST. The Women in Blue will subsequently take on United Arab Emirates on July 21 and Nepal on July 23.
While India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and Nepal have been placed in Group A for the 2024 Women's Asia Cup, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand and Bangladesh are in Group B. The top two teams from each group will progress to the semifinals, which will be played on July 26, which will be followed by the final on July 28.

What happened when India and Pakistan met in the 2022 Women's Asia Cup?
Pakistan beat India by 13 runs when the arch rivals clashed in match number 13 of the 2022 Women's Asia Cup at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Bangladesh. Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first in the game.
Nida Dar scored an unbeaten 56 off 37 balls, hitting five fours and a six. Skipper Bismah Maroof also contributed 32 off 35 as Pakistan put up a competitive 137-6 on the board in the 20 overs.
India faltered in the chase and were bowled out for 124 in 19.4 overs. Richa Ghosh top-scored with 26 off 13, while Dayalan Hemalatha contributed 22 off 20. For Pakistan, Nashra Sandhu claimed 3-30, while Sadia Iqbal and Nida Dar picked up two wickets each.
The loss to Pakistan was the only defeat India suffered in the 2022 Women's Asia Cup. They won the tournament by hammering Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the final. Renuka Singh starred with figures of 3-5, while Mandhana slammed 51* off 25.
