When is KKR's next match in IPL 2024? Date, Time & Opposition

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) went down to Rajasthan Royals (RR) by two wickets in match number 31 of IPL 2024 played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Tuesday, April 16.

In a high-scoring contest, KKR batted first and put up 223-6. RR, though, went past the total on the last ball, registering the highest successful chase in the IPL.

Kolkata's total was built around opener Sunil Narine's scintillating 109 off 56, which featured 13 fours and six sixes. Angkrish Raghuvanshi chipped in with 30 off 16 and Rinku Singh 20* off nine.

In reply, RR were in trouble at 121-6. However, Jos Buttler scored a brilliant 107 off 60, while Rovman Powell contributed 26 off 13 as Rajasthan registered a memorable win.

KKR, meanwhile, will look to return to winning ways when they face Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday, April 21. Despite the loss to Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday, Kolkata are second in the points table, with four wins and two losses from six games.


KKR will take on last-placed RCB in their next match

Kolkata Knight Riders' next match in IPL 2024 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be game number 36 of the competition. This will be a day game at Eden Gardens, which will begin at 3:30 pm IST. The toss in the match will take place at 3:00 pm IST.

RCB are having a disastrous run in IPL 2024. They have won only one of their seven matches and are languishing in last position with two points and a net run rate of -1.185.

Bengaluru began their campaign with a six-wicket loss to defending champions Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

In their second match, they beat Punjab Kings by four wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB chased down a target of 177 in 19.2 overs, courtesy of Virat Kohli's 49-ball 77. When Bengaluru met Kolkata in the first half of IPL 2024, KKR won by 28 runs in an away contest.

RCB registered another defeat when they went down to Lucknow Super Giants by 28 runs in another home game.

In their last three matches, they have succumbed to defeats against Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians and SunRisers Hyderabad. RR beat them by six wickets, MI by seven wickets, while SRH hammered Bengaluru by 25 runs in a run-fest at the Chinnaswamy.
