When is RCB's next match in IPL 2024? Date, Time & Opposition
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) suffered a one-run heartbreak against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 36 of IPL 2024 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday, April 21.
Bowling first after winning the toss, RCB conceded 222-6 in their 20 overs. They came up with a fighting performance in the chase but were all out for 221 off the last ball of the match.
Bengaluru's bowlers suffered at the hands of Kolkata's batters, as Phil Salt smashed 48 off 14, Shreyas Iyer contributed 50 off 36, while Ramandeep Singh put the finishing touches with 24* off nine balls.
In the chase, Will Jacks (55 off 32) and Rajat Patidar (52 off 23) excelled for RCB. Karn Sharma (20 off seven) also played a brilliant cameo at the end, but Bengaluru fell just short of the finish line.
RCB will hope for a turnaround in fortunes when they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday, April 25. Royal Challengers Bengaluru are languishing in last position in the points table, with only one win from eight matches.

SRH will look to inflict more pain on RCB
The IPL 2024 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Hyderabad on April 25 will be match number 41 of the tournament. This will be an evening game that starts at 7:30 pm IST. The toss in the match will take place at 7:00 pm IST.
When SRH and RCB met earlier this month at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Hyderabad created history by registering the highest IPL total.
Batting first, they put up 287-3 in 20 overs, bettering the 277-3 they hit against Mumbai Indians earlier this season. Travis Head slammed 102 off 41, while Heinrich Klaasen clubbed 67 in 31. They eventually won the contest by 25 runs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently third in the points table, with five wins and two losses from seven matches. Since the loss to Gujarat Titans by seven wickets in Ahmedabad, SRH have won four matches in a row.
Apart from the triumph over RCB, they beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets and Punjab Kings by two runs.
In their last match in IPL 2024, they hammered Delhi Capitals by 67 runs. Batting first, Hyderabad's batters impressed again, smashing 266-7 in their 20 overs and then restricting Delhi Capitals to 199.
