When is Team India's next match? Date, Time, & Opposition
Team India beat Zimbabwe by 42 runs in the fifth T20I of the five-match series at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday, July 14. By virtue of the triumph, the Men in Blue clinched the series 4-1. They lost the opening T20I by 13 runs, but made an impressive comeback to win the remaining four games by comprehensive margins.
Hosts Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to field first in the final T20I in Harare on Sunday. India got off to a poor start with the bat, losing their first three wickets for 40 runs. Sanju Samson top-scored with 58 off 45 balls as the Men in Blue put up 167-6. Mukesh Kumar then claimed 4-22 and Shivam Dube 2-25 as Zimbabwe were held to 125 in 18.3 overs.
Having thumped Zimbabwe 4-1, India's next match will on the tour of Sri Lanka, where they will play three T20Is and as many ODIs, starting July 27. Initially, the first T20I was to be played on July 26 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, but the start of the series has been pushed back by a day.
India's full schedule for the tour of Sri Lanka
Team India's tour of Sri Lanka will kick off with the first of the three T20Is in Pallekele on Saturday, July 27. The game will begin at 7:00 pm IST.
The remaining two T20Is of the series will also be played at the same venue on July 28 and July 30, respectively.
The India vs Sri Lanka ODI series will be held in August. The first one-dayer will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on August 2. The match will begin at 2:30 pm IST. The remaining two one-day matches of India's tour of Sri Lanka 2024 will also be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on August 4 and August 7, respectively.
