When is Team India's next match? Date, Time & Opposition
Team India went down to New Zealand by 25 runs in the third and final Test at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, November 3. Chasing a target of 147 to register a consolation win, the hosts were bundled out for 121 as the Kiwis became the first team to inflict a 3-0 whitewash on India in a Test series in India.
Having gained a first-innings lead of 28 courtesy of Shubman Gill (90) and Rishabh Pant (60), India did well to restrict New Zealand to 174 in their second innings as Ravindra Jadeja picked up his second five-fer of the Test, while off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin chipped in with three wickets.
In their chase of 147, though, India crumbled to 29-5 by the start of the eighth over. Pant (64 off 57) played a lone hand to give the hosts hope until he was dismissed lbw in controversial fashion. For New Zealand, left-arm spinner Ajaz Patel claimed five wickets, while Glenn Phillips picked up three.
Team India's next assignment is a 4-match T20I series in South Africa
While the Test squad suffered an unexpected 3-0 loss to New Zealand at home, the T20I team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, will take on South Africa in a four-match away series. The first game will be played at Kingsmead in Durban on Friday, November 8. The game will get underway at 9:30 PM IST (6:00 PM local time).
The second T20I will be held at St George's Park in Gqeberha on November 10, while the third and fourth matches of the series will be played in Centurion and Johannesburg on November 13 and November 15, respectively.

Harshit Rana, Washington Sundar and Nitish Reddy, who were picked for the Bangladesh T20Is, haven't traveled to South Africa as they have been named in the Test squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.
