When is Team India's next match in the T20I series against South Africa?

Team India beat South Africa by 11 runs in the third T20I at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Wednesday, November 13. With the win, the Men in Blue took a 2-1 lead in the four-match series. Sent into bat once again by the Proteas, India put up 219-6 on the board. In the chase, South Africa were held to 208-7.

The visitors lost Sanju Samson for a duck for the second game in a row. However, Tilak Varma, promoted to No. 3, notched up his maiden T20I ton, clobbering 107* off 56 balls, with the aid of eight fours and seven sixes. Opener Abhishek Sharma also returned to form with a blazing 50 off 25 as the duo added 107 runs.

In the chase, South Africa kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Heinrich Klaasen (41 off 22) and Marco Jansen (54 off 17) kept the hosts' hopes alive. Team India left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh (3-37), however, struck crucial blows to ensure victory for India in the high-scoring clash.


India vs South Africa 2024 4th T20I: Date and Time in IST

The fourth and final T20I of the India vs South Africa series will be played at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Friday, November 15. The game will begin at 8:30 PM IST, which is 5:00 PM local time. The Proteas need to win the game to square the series 2-2.

The Men in Blue have played four T20I matches against South Africa in Johannesburg, winning three and losing one. India played their first-ever T20I match at the same venue in December 2006 and registered a six-wicket win in a low-scoring game.

Team India went down to the Proteas by 11 runs (DLS method) in March 2012 as Colin Ingram starred with 78 off 50. The visitors have tasted victories in their last two T20I matches against South Africa in Johannesburg.

India beat the Proteas by 28 runs in February 2018 as pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar registered superb figures of 5-24. The Men in Blue also got the better of South Africa by 106 runs in their last T20I match at the venue. Suryakumar Yadav slammed 100 off 56 balls as the Proteas suffered a crushing defeat.
