When Virat Kohli was named alongside Ryan Gosling and Barack Obama in the top 10 best dressed men 

Virat Kohli is the most popular cricketer on Instagram, with more than 270 million followers. Kohli's incredible cricket career is the main reason behind his massive fan following but the star Indian batter's fashion sense and lifestyle off the field has also earned him quite a few followers.

Back in 2012, when Virat Kohli was a rising star in world cricket, he earned a place in the Top 10 best dressed international men's list. Popular lifestyle magazine GQ ranked the Top 10 men from different parts of the world based on their fashion sense.

Virat earned the third position on that Top 10 list, keeping company with former US President Barrack Obama and actors Vincent Cassell and Ryan Gosling. Irish-German actor Michael Fassbender topped that list in 2012.

Kohli continues to be one of the best dressed men in the world even now. In fact, he is the brand ambassador of several fashion brands in India as well as overseas.

GQ ranked Kohli as one of the Top 10 best dressed men across the world in 2012, and four years later, the star Indian cricketer made it to the cover of the magazine as one of the best dressed men in the country.

Reacting to the cover, Kohli wrote on X:

"Love the cover! Best Dressed is a huge compliment."

Three years later in 2019, GQ once again picked Kohli one of their lists, this time in the Top 15 most stylish sportsmen in the world. Kohli earned a place on that list alongside the likes of LeBron James, Roger Federer, Neymar Jr, Raheem Sterling, Hardik Pandya, Lewis Hamilton and Russell Westbrook.

It will be interesting to see if Kohli makes it to the best dressed men list in 2024.
