"Will join for sure" - Yuzvendra Chahal set to be part of Samay Raina's India's Got Latent

Team India's veteran leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is set to be part of stand-up comedian Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent. The cricket star will be one of the panellists in an upcoming episode of the show.

On Wednesday, October 30, Samay shared an Instagram story, asking fans for panel suggestions. Chahal responded to the story by writing his own name, and the comedian invited the 34-year-old star to the show.

Inviting Chahal for his show, Samay wrote in his Instagram story:

"Jabh cricket match nahi khel rahe hongey tabh bulaaunga. Basically kisi bhi din aajao sir." (I will call you when you are not playing a cricket match. Basically you can come any day sir).

In a separate Instagram story, Samay confirmed that Chahal will surely be part of the panel for one of the episodes, writing:

"Abhi batya toh Yuzvendra Chalal will join for sure."

The popular comedian also shared a picture of himself talking to Chahal over a video call.

On the cricketing front, Yuzvendra Chahal is currently taking part in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024. While he hasn't picked up a single wicket so far this season, he registered his highest-ever score in first-class cricket, scoring 48 runs against Uttar Pradesh.

Yuzvendra Chahal has shown tremendous improvement with the bat in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024. He followed his 48-run innings with a marathon knock in his team's recently concluded match against Madhya Pradesh.

In Haryana's first innings, Chahal toiled hard for 142 balls and scored 27 runs, helping his team take a first-innings lead of 132. The match ultimately ended in a draw. However, Haryana claimed three points, courtesy of the first innings lead.

Haryana will now take on Punjab in their next Elite Group C fixture. The match will be played at Ch. Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Rohtak from November 6.
