Perth Scorchers cruised to a comfortable seven-wicket victory against Hobart Hurricanes in the tenth game of the Women’s Big Bash League 2023 on Wednesday, October 25. This fixture was played at the W.A.C.A. Ground in Perth.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Hurricanes lost their first wicket at 28 runs inside five overs. After 10.1 overs, they were in massive trouble at 67/6 with Naomi Stalenberg and Hayley Silver-Holmes at the crease. The duo put on a crucial 84-run partnership which eventually guided the team to a total of 158 in their 20 overs.
