"Head took the game straight out of India's hands"- Australia captain Pat Cummins after victory in 2nd BGT 2024-25 Test in Adelaide
At the post-match presentation, Australian skipper Pat Cummins reflected on the win, saying:
"We have been pretty good this week and we were able to pick up the wickets in time. It was amazing to have this group and Starc is amazing and it has been a privilege to have him in the side. Head took the game straight out of India's hands when he walked out to bat."
He continued:
"It was about getting in that lead and putting them under the pump. Scotty (Boland) fitted in straight away and he probes the batters with every ball. Hopefully, Josh is back next week but Scotty was incredible. We will look to have an ice bath and recover before the third Test. "
The two teams will now travel to Brisbane for the third Test which commences on Saturday (December 14) at the Gabba.
