WPL auction 2025 telecast channel: Where to watch and live streaming details in India
The Women's Premier League 2025 auction will take place in Bengaluru on Sunday, December 15. This mini-auction will give the franchises the opportunity to boost their squads and reinforce them. This comes less than three weeks after the immensity of the IPL 2025 auction held in November in Saudi Arabia.
The WPL auction will not be as elaborate as the IPL auction had been, with only nineteen slots available with teams and their purses not as big. As many as 120 players are expected to go under the hammer in this auction, of which 91 hail from India and the others from overseas.
Some of the marquee names that will feature in this auction this year are Deandra Dottin (West Indies), Heather Knight (England), Kim Garth (Australia), Lauren Bell (England) and Sneh Rana (India), among others.
However, most franchises have retained their core squads, and only 19 slots are open, including five for foreigners.
The auction will begin at 3 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) while the broadcast will begin thirty minutes early. Here is all you need to know about the broadcast and live streaming details for the WPL 2025 auction, slated to be held in Bengaluru on Sunday, December 15.
