“Yellow kache wala” – Harbhajan Singh drops cheeky reply to Shikhar Dhawan’s latest Instagram post

Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh dropped a cheeky reply to Shikhar Dhawan on his latest Instagram post on Tuesday, August 13. The reaction came after Dhawan shared a picture of himself wearing shorts on seemingly a yacht with a picturesque background. The India opener asked his followers about the spectacular view. Harbhajan pulled his leg by writing about his yellow-colored shorts instead.

While Harbhajan has retired from cricket, Dhawan continues to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) following his snub from Team India across all three formats.

In his latest Instagram post, Dhawan wrote:

“Which view is better?”

On the professional front, Dhawan missed the majority of games (8 out of 14 league games) for Punjab Kings in IPL 2024 due to a shoulder injury. He recently worked as Dhawan Karenge Talk show host at Jio Cinema. The opening season comprised five episodes, in which Dhawan interviewed Harbhajan, Taapsee Pannu, Rishabh Pant, and Akshay Kumar.

“If I could trade everything I have just to meet my father” – When Harbhajan Singh got emotional on Shikhar Dhawan’s talk show

Harbhajan Singh had recently got emotional on Shikhar Dhawan’s talk show. While expressing his bond with his father, he said (via Filmybeat):

“I also draw a lot of inspiration from my father. He was very hard-working. It was his dream to see me succeed and make a name for myself. It is uncanny that now I have made a mark for myself and he's not here to witness it. I'm sure he is watching over and blessing me. If I could trade everything I have just to meet my father, I would gladly do so.”
“As a father, I want my kids to be good human beings, and I pray to God for the same. It's their choice whatever they want to be; we will support them,” he added.

Harbhajan Singh, who retired with 700-plus wickets in international cricket, has been serving as Rajya Sabha’s Member of Parliament since 2022. The former player also works as a commentator in selected matches. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan is likely to be next seen in IPL 2025.
