Nidahas Trophy 2018: 3 changes India could make for the match against Bangladesh

I
India will look to give youngsters a chance to shine

India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the fourth match of the Nidahas trophy. The win was very important for India's chances of progressing to the finals and now with two wins in three matches, the Men in Blue have the liberty of experimenting with the team combination for their last round-robin match against Bangladesh.

Even though India have not qualified for the final yet, with a superior net run-rate even a defeat in the game against Bangladesh might not affect India's chances. Apart from winning the match, it is also important for the Indian team to give chances to the fringe players to showcase their talent.

We will look at three team changes that India can make for the match against Bangladesh.

#3 Mohd Siraj for Jaydev Unadkat

Si
Siraj has impressed everyone with his raw pace

Coming into this series, Jaydev Unadkat was the senior-most pacer in the side and a lot was expected from him. However, he has had a mixed series so far. Even though Unadkat took three wickets against Bangladesh, he has been inconsistent for a major part of the series and has proved to be expensive, giving runs at a rate of more than ten runs per over.

Unadkat can be given a break and Mohd Siraj can be drafted in for him. Siraj had a forgettable debut series against New Zealand last year, but the selectors showed faith in his ability by selecting him for the tri-series.

The Hyderabad quick came into limelight in the IPL because of his ability to bowl quick and hurry the batsmen. Rohit Sharma can use him as an attacking option, unleashing him against Bangladesh.
