India have an outstanding T20 team full of superstars, and have tasted success all across the globe. It's no surprise that Indian cricketers are in demand in every T20 league in the world.

However, the BCCI has been reluctant to send its cricketers to foreign T20 leagues because of a number of factors. That is why, Indians remain notable absentees in T20 leagues apart from the IPL.

Australian fans have been itching to see Indians play the world-famous Big Bash League ever since its inception in 2011. If Indians are to play the BBL, the league would certainly acquire an even higher profile.

Here, we take a look at one Indian cricketer who would have been a good fit for each BBL team in the 2018-19 season.

Sydney Thunder - Jasprit Bumrah

The Sydney Thunder have one of the most susceptible bowling attacks in the Big Bash League. The Thunder lack experience in their fast bowling department, with none of their seamers having played much international cricket.

Their bowling roster reads Daniel Sams, Gurinder Sandhu, Sam Rainbird and Nathan McAndrew.

In such circumstances, Jasprit Bumrah could have provided a huge boost to their bowling attack with his accuracy and death-bowling skills. Among all the eight franchises, Sydney Thunder would have been the team where Bumrah would be needed the most.

Sydney Sixers - Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal is a crafty spinner who can make the batsmen dance to the tunes of his leg-spin bowling. He is an asset that any T20 team would love to have in their ranks; with Chahal in the side, the captain can be guaranteed of a potent force in the middle overs.

The Sydney Sixers team lack prowess in their spin department. Nathan Lyon and Steve O'Keefe are good spinners but by no means do they pose a big threat in the shortest format.

Chahal could make this bowling attack complete by bringing in his subtle variations and guile.
