Pakistan cricketers exposed watching vulgar dance show hours before Zimbabwe tour
Pakistani cricketers were exposed by Geo News Channel watching a vulgar dance show in a Lahore theatre just hours ahead of the team’s tour to Zimbabwe.
Three fast bowlers – Junaid Khan, Ali Asad and Anwar Ali – had visited a theatre in Lahore to watch a dance show, generally accepted in Pakistan to have content considered inappropriate and indecent. But they were unaware of the fact that they had been caught on camera by the media.
These shows have actresses performing suggestive and vulgar dance moves on stage, and has been popular for all the wrong reasons.
The manager of the Pakistan team Moin Khan, had spoken at length for the need of discipline in the side. But with this incident taking place just hours before the team left for Zimbabwe, questions are being raised over the ability of the team to show the necessary restraint that is expected from an international side, reported NDTV Sport.
The media has left no stone unturned in their coverage of the incident, and have made many sarcastic comments regarding the conduct of the team.
This incident has come as a major embarrassment for the PCB ahead of the tour to Zimbabwe, scheduled to start from August 23rd. The Pakistan team will play two Test matches, three ODI’s and two T-20 Internationals.
