Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019: When and where to watch, live streaming, telecast details and fixtures

Blitz Advertising and Techfront, who are the official broadcasters for Pakistan's lucrative T20 league, recently revealed the broadcast details for HBL Pakistan Super League 2019 which comprises 34 T20 fixtures starting January 5.

Due to unavailability of its regular TV channel in its kitty, Blitz have secured a deal with Pakistan premium sports group Geo Sports to provide broadcast for all matches on its channels in Pakistan. As per the official schedule release on its website, the broadcaster has dedicated its channel for the PSL 2019 for viewers in the nation.

The PSL 2019 is scheduled to be held between February 14, 2019 and March 17, 2019. As per schedule, the league stage will be played between February 14 and March 10, 2019, which will be followed by playoffs on March 12, 13 and the final of the tournament is set to be played on March 17, 2019.

The league will feature six franchisee-based teams, Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans, where all six teams will face each other twice in a double round-robin fashion before the playoff stage which will consist of Eliminator, Qualifiers and the final.

The league phase is scheduled to be played across five venues in the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan; where the first half of the tournament will be hosted by UAE at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. While the final eight fixtures including Playoffs will be hosted in Pakistan at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and National Stadium in Karachi and the final of 2019 edition will be hosted at Karachi

For the first time in the league's history, fans will witness the league stage fixtures in Pakistan and Abu Dhabi. As per reports, four league games have been assigned to Abu Dhabi, while fans in Karachi and Lahore will witness five and three games respectively. This will also be the first occasion when an Indian company IMG Reliance will perform production work for the tournament.

Geo Sports will broadcast all 34 fixtures of PSL 2019, including playoffs and the final, on Geo Super. Meanwhile, Discovery Communications are expected to broadcast all the PSL action live for viewers in India on DSports.

Meanwhile, Blitz Advertising will share their live feed with twelve other licensees around the world. These broadcasters will telecast the tournament across various regions of the globe; Dialog TV (Sri Lanka), Yupp TV (UAE and North Africa), Sky Sports, Channel 792 and Hum TV (United Kingdom), Willow TV (USA and Canada), Flow TV (Carribean Islands), Gazi TV (Bangladesh), SuperSport (South Africa), Channel 44 (Australia), Star Times (Kenya), Moby (Afghanistan) and OSN Sports (South Africa and Middle East).
