Pakistan vs West Indies- Stats: Yasir Shah equals world record
Pakistan beat West Indies by 133 runs in the second Test at Abu Dhabi and sealed the three-match Test series 2-0 with the third and final Test to be played at Sharjah from 30 October.
It all started with veterans Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan putting on 175 runs for the fourth wicket on day 1 and that set the tone for Pakistan on a pitch that had very little assistance for the bowlers. Younis went on to score his 33rd Test century while Misbah missed out on one after he was dismissed for 96. After ending their innings with the scorecard reading 452, Pakistani bowlers continued the good work as they dismissed the visitors for just 224 with a first-innings deficit of 228.
Yasir Shah was the star of the show as he ended with figures of 4-86. Fifties from Azhar Ali, Sami Aslam and Asad Shafiq helped Pakistan declare their second innings at 227-3 and set Windies a total of 456 runs. Once again, it was Yasir Shah's heroics that did the job for his team as the leggie picked up 6 wickets in the second innings and sealed the win.
