Pakistan women's cricket team finally defeats England

The Pakistan women’s cricket team finally managed to defeat their English opponents as they scraped through by the narrowest of margins, winning by a single run.

Having been hammered in the first T20, earlier in the day, Pakistan seemed to be heading for yet another humiliating defeat as they managed only 116/8 in their allotted 20 overs. However, their bowlers reduced the English eves to 52/6. A rousing counter attack from Aaron Brindle almost pushed the Pakistani’s out, before they struck off the very last ball and ran her out.
