Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq was robbed at gunpoint at his house in Lahore on Tuesday.

According to Razzaq, masked men broke into his home early in the morning. The robbers supposedly entered the house through the washroom window and took away a locker which had his passport, gold and money.

“The matter has been reported to the police but it was a traumatic experience for me and my family members as the robbers tied us up while they robbed the valuables,” Razzaq said.

The Lahore police suspect the thieves had prior information.

Earlier this week in an unrelated incident, a case was registered against Razzaq’s national teammate Wahab Riaz for violating a rule at his marriage ceremony.
