Parthiv Patel leaves RCB for MI, replaced by Manvinder Bisla

Parthiv Patel moves to the Mumbai Indians after being released by RCB

With the first trading window of the 2015 Indian Premier League season being open currently, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have decided to release wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel to Mumbai Indians. They have consequently acquired Manvinder Bisla from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), as they were left with just one senior wicket-keeper in the squad in AB de Villiers after Patel’s departure. The trading window, which has been active from October 6 onwards, will close on December 12.

The other players to have been traded in this window are Unmukt Chand and Vinay Kumar, both of whom have moved to the Mumbai Indians from Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders, respectively. Mumbai Indians, meanwhile, have released Mike Hussey and Praveen Kumar.

The 2015 IPL season will be played from 8 April till 24 May.
