Finally, good days seem to have arrived for owners and fans of King XI Punjab after their stunning debut season in the Indian Premier League five years back, as the Punjab-based franchise has started off extremely well in this edition of IPL 7. In the first week, Kings XI have managed to remain at the top position in the points tally by winning all the three matches so far. Apart from the team, players like Glenn Maxwell and Lakshmipathy Balaji have managed to be at the top position for having scored the maximum number of runs and taken the maximum number of wickets respectively. The over-dependence on Maxwell and David Miller is something that they will be concerned about. Their captain George Bailey needs to rise to the occasion to support the Miller-Maxwell duo and hope the bowling unit, which is possibly the weakest one in this IPL, somehow manages to keep a check on the opposition for the results to continue the same way.
