The player auctions for the thirteenth season of IPL to be held in 2020 is set to get off on 19th December where all released players and some new entrants would come under the hammer and the franchises would bid vigorously to get the best player for their team.

A lot of players have been released from their teams including some of the veterans who have otherwise been the backbone of their respective teams. Other franchises would be keen on bidding on them. Let us have a look at some of the players whom every franchise would be eyeing upon.

Chris Morris

Known as a formidable player and having the ability to bowl Yorkers towards the end and hit clean sixes with the bat, Morris is one of those players whom every franchise would want to bid for. He has also taken 69 wickets in 61 matches at an economy of 7.98 with 4/23 being his best. With a total of 517 runs in IPL and 27 sixes apart from 37 fours, Morris is one such lower order batsmen whom every team would like to have at number 6 or 7.

David Miller

Another South African in the list and known for some fierce batting, David Miller is one such person who can turn the game on his own. He has score 1850 runs in 79 matches with 101* being his highest score. 87 sixes and 126 fours are an answer to how cruel this batsmen can be at times on the opposition. He has been released by KXIP and will be available for auctions.

Chris Lynn

Backbone of KKR batting, Chris Lynn’s capacity as an opener can be understood from the fact that he is known to give good starts to the team along with his partner Sunil Narine. With an IPL strike rate of 140, Lynn can fit in any team as an opener. However, his inability to perform consistently has cost him his place in the KKR squad. However, the champ can always bounce back and contribute towards his team’s cause.

Marcus Stoinis

An Australian All-rounder, Stoinis has been contributing both with his bat and ball. He can come handy with some hitting in the middle and get some overs done in the middle of the innings. His clean hitting ability is a plus for the team and he strikes the batt at 130. Released from RCB, Stoinis would be in the list of most of the franchises who would be looking for an overseas all-rounder who would be hungry enough to make big this season.

Other Players to Look Out for During IPL Auctions

Apart from those mentioned above, there are a number of players for whom every franchise would like bid for.
