9 players who scored a hundred on Test debut, but a duck on ODI debut
To score a hundred on debut is immensely satisfying, while scoring a duck on debut is equally disappointing. And there are some players who have tasted both feelings in their careers.
Here, we present to you 9 batsmen who made a hundred on their Test debut and didn't trouble the scorers in their ODI debut.
1. Jimmy Neesham (New Zealand)
James Neesham, better known by his nickname 'Jimmy', scored an unbeaten 137 in the second innings of the second Test against India at Wellington in February 2014. He made a 35-ball 33 in the first innings as well.
However, he had a forgettable debut in ODIs. His first match was against South Africa at Paarl on Jan 19, 2013. He was trapped LBW by Ryan Mclaren for a duck.
