19th December ’14, Mumbai: KOOH Sports and Rajasthan Royals player Pravin Tambe launched “Beyond 22 Yards”, a unique hunt for cricket interns who will get an opportunity to travel with the Rajasthan Royals players during the upcoming IPL season. These interns will be chosen from the KOOH Sports Cricket academies that offer world class training at Hiranandani Foundation School, Mumbai.

Tambe, a Rajasthan Royals player, and KOOH Sports Technical Director Apurva Desai visited the academy to launch the initiative and kick start the registrations for the academies. The students of the academy met the technicians and faculty, interacted with them on various techniques employed during an actual cricket match.

Tambe shared some interesting tips with the cricket enthusiasts on improving their game and play style. The students of the academy will get trained by technical experts and will also get an opportunity to win an internship with the Rajasthan Royals team.

Dedicated to impart quality sports education in India through skill and age progressive curriculum that cuts across grass root level initiation and helps identify and nurture talent, KOOH Sports has set up “KOOH Sports Cricket Development Centres” targeting students from an age group of 6-17 years all across the country.

In partnership with Rajasthan Royals, the academy leverages the experience of seasoned sports persons to nurture talent at the school and community level by providing them a specialized learning environment to coach them in the sport of cricket. Well known Coach Apurva Desai is spearheading the training & technical specialisation at the academy in Mumbai.
