The team management has decided not to risk him for the next two matches

During the end of the innings, he was seen in the dugout but never came back on to the field. "Ashwin has a split in his middle finger. We do not know how many stitches he will require," Super Kings' team manager Russell Radhakrishnan said. "He has been taken to the hospital. The team has decided not to take Ashwin for the next two matches."

CSK’s next two matches are against the Kolkata Knight Riders (April 30th) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (May 2nd).
