Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders: A Preview

With their last campaign ending in a disaster, KKR would be keen to set things right immediately with a win against RR at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. RR on the other hand are brimming with confidence after a commanding win over KXIP in their opener. With Shane Watson yet to arrive, RR already look a strong unit. KKR already have their full contigent of foreign players available. They will be keen to play Shakib Al Hasan after his recent exploits in The Asia Cup.

The WI all-rounder made a dream debut and will be looking forward to continue his form. If given a chance to bat higher up in the order, expect some fireworks in Jaipur.

Ajinkya Rahane:
If RR have to get off to a good start, a lot depends on this Mumbai lad. After a match-winning effort, he will be high on confidence and looking to demolish KKR.

Johan Botha:
The SA all-rounder is probably their best-bet in big matches. With good experience and a smart cricketing brain, he is truly a match-winner.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Gautam Gambhir:
In the game against DD, he got off to a start but couldn’t quite carry on. With pressure mounting, he would like to make a statement or two.

Jaques Kallis;
The SA all-rounder, a legend of the game is their best man on field. If he can replicate his RCB performance, SRK would be a happy man.

Shakib Al Hasan:

The Bangladeshi will be a key man if KKR have to win. It would be a good move to include him in the playing XI
