KL Rahul scored a hundred and earned a recall for the second India-England Test

It was yet another pulsating day of action in the Ranji Trophy with matches all across the country producing some exciting cricket. Here’s a look at all the results:

Mumbai vs Uttar Pradesh:  Mysore

Heading into the final day, both Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh have the opportunity to secure a win on the final day in Mysore. This, after the former were bowled out for 286 in the third innings of the game  and then the latter finished proceedings at 43 for 1 in 14 overs.

Surya Kumar Yadav played a decisive innings for Mumbai, scoring a valuable 90 which helped his side reach that total while Shardul Thakur made a vital 48 lower down the order that could prove to be critical.

Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets for UP, while skipper Bhuvaneshwar Kumar took 2 wickets.

Karnataka vs Team Rajasthan: Vizianagaram

KL Rahul made a hundred and earned a recall to the Indian team for the second Test between India and England at Vizag as Karnataka dominated proceedings on Day 3 of their game against Team Rajasthan.

Rahul made 106 as the 2014 and 2015 champions set the opposition 525 runs for a win with a day-and-a-half to go. Once he had done his bit, it was time for the skipper R Vinay Kumar to turn on the heat on Team Rajasthan, picking up 3 wickets and he was well supported by Sreenath Arvind, who took two scalps, leaving their opponents placed at a dismal 118 for 6, heading into the final day.

Bengal vs Tamil Nadu: Rajkot

After bowling out Bengal for 337 on the second day, Tamil Nadu took a small lead of 11 runs, finishing the day at 348 for 9 in their first innings. Dinesh Karthik brought all his experience into play, scoring a crucial 80 and was well supported by Kaushik Gandhi who made 65 and Abhinav Mukund, who made 45.

Sayan Ghosh was the pick of Bengal’s bowlers, taking figures of 4 for 121 in 35 overs.
