The second day saw Rajasthan crush Tripura by an innings and 77 runs in Elite Group C. In Elite Group A, Railways defeated Maharashtra by an innings and 58 runs.

Baroda versus Karnataka (Moti Bagh Stadium, Vaddodra)

Baroda defeated Karnataka by 2 wickets in a low scoring thriller. Resuming at the overnight score of 13 for 2, Karnataka were bowled out for 220 runs in their second innings. Chasing the target of 110 runs to win, Baroda chased it down with 8 wickets down.

Mumbai versus Chhattisgarh (Wankdehe Stadium, Mumbai)

Starting at the overnight score of 118 for 3, Mumbai could only add 70 runs to their overnight total before being bowled out for 188 runs. Chhattisgarh, in their second innings, were bowled out for 149. Chasing a target of 91 runs to win, Mumbai ended the day at 77 for 0.

Saurashtra versus Vidarbha (SCA Stadium, Rajkot)

Starting at the overnight score of 218 for 5, Saurashtra were bowled out for 356 runs in their first innings. In reply, Vidarbha ended the day at 63 for 2.

Starting the day at 257 for 7, Himachal Pradesh added 40 runs to their overnight total before being bowled out for 297 runs in their first innings. In reply, Kerala ended the day at 219 for 5.

Starting the day at the overnight score of 24 for 3, Madhya Pradesh were bowled out for 91 runs in their first innings. In their second innings, Andhra Pradesh ended the day at 198 for 7

Jammu and Kashmir versus Jharkhand (Gandhi Memorial Science College Ground, Jammu)

After no play taking place on the first day, the match between Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand finally began on the second day. Jammu and Kashmir captain Parveez Rasool won the toss and decided to bat first. They were bowled out for 151 runs in the first innings. In reply, Jharkhand ended the day at 9 for 0.

Odisha versus Goa (Vikas Cricket Ground, Bhubaneswar)

Starting the day at 259 for 7, Odisha made 352 runs in their first innings. In reply, Goa were bowled out for 116 runs in their first innings. In their second innings, Odisha ended the day at 37 for 1 with a massive lead in sight.
