Ranji Trophy 2014-15: Jharkhand vs Goa report
Match Summary: Jharkhand (385 & 55/2) beat Goa (215 & 233 f/o)
Points: Jharkhand 6, Goa 0
Finally, Jharkhand managed to secure a win, albeit it was against bottom-placed Goa. Yet, it is still a win.
Jharkhand batted first. Saurabh Tiwary's 162 and Shiv Gautam's 76 built a solid platform which they weren't able to fully capitalize on. A typical lower order collapse saw the team manage only 385. But even this was enough to make Goa follow-on.
Quadri and Nadeem again ran through the Goan lineup and Jharkhand had a meager target of 55 in the 4th innings. They were certainly in with a chance to secure the bonus point, but a couple of early blows put that possibility out of equation. And Jharkhand moved on to an 8 wicket victory.
