Karnataka captain R Vinay Kumar was on fire as he ripped through Maharashtra's batting line-up, bowling them out for 245. He ended with six wickets to his name while Pavan Deshpande, Abhimanyu Mithun, and Stuart Binny picked up the other four.

IPL star Rahul Tripathi was the only batsman who shone with the bat as he scored a quickfire century.

In response, the Karnataka openers performed exceptionally well as they ended the day with 117 runs on the board.

In the other matches, discarded Indian batsman Ambati Rayudu was the best batsman for Hyderabad as they ended the day at 272-3 against Railways.

In the other match, Suresh Raina failed once again as Uttar Pradesh were able to manage 270 runs on the board with the loss of eight wickets.

Kerala batting sensation Sanju Samson scored a sumptuous century against Jammu and Kashmir but his side managed to score only 212. In response, J&K ended the day at 16-0.

Meanwhile, Cheteshwar Pujara continues to impress as he scored another century as Saurashtra ended the day at 341-5. Pujara remained not out at 125.

In the other match, Amit Mishra picked up four wickets as Gujarat were bowled out for 236. Unfortunately, Haryana ended the day with 0 runs on the board for the loss of one wicket.

17-year-old Prithvi Shaw scored his fourth century in five matches as Mumbai ended with 264 runs on the board with the loss of six wickets. Shaw could soon find himself in the Indian cricket team if he continues to impress.

The notable performances in the other matches include Vishnu Solanki who scored 116 runs as Baroda ended with 304 runs on the board with the loss of five wickets.

Bengal's Abhishek Raman performed exceptionally well as he scored 176 and helped his side end the day at 306-5.
