Ravichandran Ashwin slips one place in ICC rankings for all-rounders in Tests
In the Tests all-rounders rankings, owing to the recently concluded Investec series between India and England, Ravichandran Ashwin has lost a place with 357 points and dropped to second position and is placed after Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib-al-Hasan who heads the table with 364 points.
The all-rounder Ashwin who was picked instead of Jadeja for the fourth Test against England was able to show grit with his batting, when the Indian top order batsmen collapsed and were out swung by English bowlers.
In the fourth Test at Manchester, Ashwin valiantly fought scores of 40 and 46 with the bat and was impressive in bowling where he took 3 wickets in the first innings at Oval, though India lost both matches by an innings margin.
Stuart Broad due to his recent good show with the ball in the Investec series has climbed to the fourth position of the ICC ratings with 296 points just ahead of Australian pacer, Mitchell Johnson with 280 points.
Here are the ICC ratings for the top five allrounders in Test cricket.
