Ravindra Jadeja proud of his scintillating performance
Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has expressed his happiness over his great bowling performance yesterday. Yesterday, Jadeja took 4-12 as CSK beat KKR comfortably. Jadeja, who has not been in the best of form recently, showed once again that he can be very dangerous on Indian pitches. Jadeja hailed his own performance as well as the team effort after the win.
Jadeja said: ““I’m glad to have contributed towards the team. While batting, when we couldn’t really get runs during the end, the 18-19 runs that I scored was crucial for us. The wicket also had a lot of spin in it and thankfully the ball was turning a lot more in the second innings. So I just bowled in the right channels.”
He further added, “Against Kings XI, we dropped Maxwell early in the innings, which turned out to be the difference between the two sides. It’s a short format and one catch is all it takes. We’ve learnt from that game and have improved our catching.”
Going forward, Jadeja would be hoping for more such performances, so that he can lead his team towards the playoffs. The Saurashtra all-rounder has once again established that he possesses some great talent with bat and ball.
