Why Dhoni and Raina did not receive invitations to Ravindra Jadeja's wedding

The 27-year-old Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja is set to tie the nuptial knots with his fiancee, Rivabaa Solanki on 17 April 2016. The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place in the middle of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League which kicks off on 8 April.

Jadeja will be representing the Rajkot-based franchise, Gujarat Lions in IPL 9 after having played for Chennai Super Kings in the previous four editions of the tournament. The 27-year-old formed a formidable partnership with his Team India colleagues, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Suresh Raina to reach the finals of the IPL thrice in the last four years.

In a recent interview given to the Bengali news channel, Newstime, Jadeja said he wouldn’t invite MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina to his wedding since the duo is very close to him and hence, don’t even need any official invitation cards.

However, the Indian all-rounder later added that he would send a special invitation to anyone who is close to him, in case, the need be.

According to a number of sources, a day before his actual wedding ceremony, Ravindra Jadeja is going to throw a party for his Saurashtra and Team India teammates along with his other close friends at a well-known hotel in Kalavad Road.

The soon-to-be bride, Reeva Solanki is not only a mechanical engineer by professional but also an aspiring public servant.
