RCB's Iqbal Abdullah reports corrupt approach during IPL 8

Indian Premier League's (IPL) worries are not stopping at all as Iqbal Abdulla of Royal Challengers Bangalore today reported a suspect approach by one person during IPL 2015 season, reports ESPNcricinfo.

Abdullah was approached by an unknown person who offered him big cash for leaking team information. He had reported it to Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ASCU) of Indian cricket board as soon after he was asked in the first week of April.

The website said that he was receiving calls quite frequently and when he stopped responding to it, he received a text message from the same number calling himself a big fan and he is waiting at the hotel lobby for a photograph. Abdullah then soften his temper and went to pose for the picture, and was then given 'offer' for team information.

This is the second incident of 2015 IPL season were a player has been approached by a person to leak team information. First, it was one Rajasthan Royals' player who reported of the corrupt approach before the start of IPL 8 season from his teammate. After that, Mumbai's Hiken Shah was suspended by BCCI from participating in any cricket activities until the board decides the punishment.
