Royal Challengers Bangalore's search for an IPL title continues as Kohli & Co. crashed out of the IPL 2018. The defeat against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday ended their 2018 journey. They finished the season with 6 wins from 14 games and never looked a settled unit.

Only the individual brilliance of AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli, and Umesh Yadav has kept them alive until the last league game. With 530 runs, Virat Kohli finished as their highest run-getter. Umesh Yadav was easily their best bowler this season with 20 wickets. Some of their expensive signings failed to live up to the expectations this season and that has attributed to their downfall.

Note: Players who have played at least 3 games this season are rated here.

Without much ado, let's see the performances of RCB players this season.

Kulwant Khejroliya 2/10

Virat Kohli surprised everyone when he played Khejroliya instead of Mohammed Siraj.in RCB's first game of the season. The Delhi seamer played only 3 games for RCB and struggled to adapt to the demands of the game. He picked up 2 wickets at an economy rate of 9.87.

Manan Vohra 3/10

Vohra's IPL season lasted only 4 games. He scored a total of 55 runs at a strike rate of 117. He could not create an impact and only once scored more than 10 runs in an innings. A season to forget for the 24-year-old batsman from Punjab.

Corey Anderson 3/10

Corey Anderson's 2018 IPL season was a disaster. He played only 3 games and did not do anything remarkable in those games. He scored 17 runs in his three innings at a strike rate of 77.27 and picked up 3 wickets at an economy rate of 13.26. Not his best IPL season.

Sarfraz Khan 3/10

Retained by Bangalore prior to the 2018 auction, Sarfraz failed to play a single substantial knock for RCB this season, with his highest score being 22*. He scored a total of 51 runs in 7 games at a strike rate of 124. He let his team down on far too many occasions and lacked composure at the crease.
