What's the story?

It seems Rishabh Pant's babysitting skill is in high demand. 'Hitman' Rohit Sharma invited the wicketkeeper-batsman on Twitter to babysit his daughter, Samaira. Later, Pant came up with an epic reply to Hitman's tweet.

The Background

It all began with the Australian skipper, Tim Paine's 'friendly banter' with Rishabh Pant during the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne last month. Pant took the banter to a whole new level by meeting Paine's family on New Year's day. Bonnie Paine, wife of Tim Paine took to Instagram and posted a pic of herself with Pant and her kids with the caption 'Best Babysitter'.

This went viral all over the social media. On Wednesday, Bonnie once posted an Instagram story with the caption 'Trying to unpack with a needy baby. Wonder is Rishabh Pant is free for a babysitting gig today'.

The heart of the matter

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma, who became a father on December 30, 2018, joined the party and invited Pant on Twitter to babysit his newborn daughter, Samaira. Earlier, Pant tweeted 'Good Morning' for which Rohit came up with an epic reply. Rohit who was with the Indian Test squad returned to India as soon as Virat Kohli's men posted a victory at the Boxing Day Test to be with his wife, Ritika sajdah who gave birth to a daughter.

Thereby, he missed the rain-marred fourth Test at Sydney which ended in a draw. The Mumbaikar will once again be seen in the Blue jersey on January when the first of three match ODI series begins at the SCG. Here is Hitman's tweet:

Meanwhile, Pant responded to Rohit's invitation with a hilarious reply!

What's next?

India takes on Australia in the first ODI at Sydney on Saturday (January 12) before moving to Adelaide (January 15) and Melbourne (January 18) for the next two games. While Rohit is expected to continue his limited-overs dominance, Pant hasn't made the cut for the ODI squad.
