Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevils, IPL 2016, Live Cricket Streaming Online : Where to watch, Global TV Telecast info of RCB vs DD
On matchday 8 of VIVO IPL 2016, the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore will be alive and kicking for two reasons. One major reason would be the fact that the Royal Challengers Bangalore have struck great form in their opening match, and a lot of anticipation would drag a lot of crowd. However, the major factor would be the home-coming of Bengalooru’s cricketing son, Rahul Dravid.
Roped in as the mentor of the Delhi Daredevils for the current season, Rahul Dravid will no doubt receive the loudest cheers from an exuberant Bengalooru crowd. The Bengalooru crowd has always presented itself as a cauldron of noise which will remain a fact when RCB takes on the Delhi Daredevils in match 11 of this season’s IPL.
Emotions will also play a big role in the match with a few Karnataka players representing the Delhi Daredevils like Karun Nair, Mayank Agarwal set to play at their home ground. DD skipper Zaheer Khan will also be welcomed by the roaring crowd, having donned the RCB colours in 2008 and throughout 2011-2013. Although Rahul Dravid will be looking to plot against RCB, he will look back in reminiscence of his times in Bengalooru, having started his IPL journey as the icon player of the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
On the day however, handling the red-hot RCB batting line-up could turn out to be a herculean task for the Daredevils. Even after a batting failure from Jamaican marauder Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers stitched an aethereal partnership to ensure RCB amassed the first 200 + score of the tournament, with new recruit Shane Watson and teenage sensation Sarfraz Khan striking a few lusty blows in the end. The RCB bowling will however, have to go better against a young Delhi line-up, led by opener Quinton De Kock, who been in scintillating form.
Delhi Daredevils will be looking to continue their winning run. After leg-spinner Amit Mishra wrecked havoc with his four wickets, pacers Zaheer Khan and Chris Morris were both very economical, and ensured the mighty KXIP ended up with just 111 on the board. After losing Shreyas Iyer early during the chase, one-down Sanju Samson took a lot of time to settle in, but caught up soon with Quinton De Kock who crafted a wonderful half-century. HIs wicket was a little too late, as Pawan Negi came in and struck a six to seal the match in Delhi’s favour.
Come match time the battle between bat and ball will be a good ine. With RCB’s top five perhaps the most destructive going around, Delhi will have to bank upon the experienced trio of Zaheer, Morris and tweaker Mishra to keep the RCB powerhouse quiet.

Team News:
Royal Challengers Bangalore :
After a stunning assault on the Sunrisers Hyderabad, the fans will be hoping that the Royal Challengers Bangalore continue their supreme form with the bat when they take on the Delhi Daredevils in their second match of the season. Although Chris Gayle fell early, RCB had the outlandish form of Virat Kohli and the talent of AB de Villiers to bank upon. The special talent in them did not fail RCB, with both batsman striking quick half-centuries. Once they fell, Watson and Sarfaraz came in to strike a few dynamic blows, which added precious runs to the total.
The bowlers nonetheless erred slightly on the higher side of economy rates. Adam Milne went over 10 RPO, while leggie Yuzvendra Chahal went for 46 in his 4 but picked two crucial wickets. Shane Watson and Parvez Rasool fared comparatively better and will be looking to provide wickets as and when they come onto bowl against DD. With Milne going for runs, it will be interesting to see if RCB opt for Kane Richardson, or the all-round option of David Wiese. Perhaps, Milne could retain his place until Samuel Badree returns.
Delhi Daredevils :
After a resounding win over the KXIP, Delhi will have their task cut-out against a formidable RCB line-up. With Gayle still yet to fire since his hundred against England in the ICC World T20, RCB will not be complaining with the likes of Kohli, AB, Watson capable of handling the batting. Quinton De Kock has been in form with the bat, while Amit Mishra has been consistent with the ball in hand.
Zaheer Khan and Chris Morris came into their own against KXIP to complement Mishra, who skittled through the Punjab middle-order to set a collapse in their middle-overs. Shreyas Iyer, who has not found form yet this IPL fell early, and one-down Sanju Samson joined De Kock. Although Samson took a while to get in, he caught up well to finish with more than run-a -ball, to lay the win out for DD although he fell just before reaching the finish line.
With RCB possessing a heavily-talent batting order, DD will bank upon the experience of Zaheer Khan and Amit Mishra to stop them from blazing away to a formidable total yet again, while the form of Pawan Negi and young Shreyas Iyer will be crucial too. The batting will have to be well handled by the South African pair of De Kock and JP Duminy.
