RR Schedule 2024 Details
Inaugural IPL champions will commence their 2024 campaign against the Lucknow Super Giants on March 24, 2024, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The Royals will play their second match against the Delhi Capitals on their home turf on March 28.
The caravan of RR Schedule 2024 will then move to the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, where five-time winners MI will await them. The high-profile encounter will take place on Monday, April 01.
The 4th match of the RR 2024 Schedule will take place in the safe comforts of the Sawai Mansingh Stadium – against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on April 06.
The remaining home fixtures will take place on April 10 (vs. GT), April 22 (vs. MI), May 15 (vs. PBKS in Guwahati), and May 19 (vs. KKR in Guwahati).
Meanwhile, the remainder of away matches will be staged on April 13 (vs. PBKS in Mohali), April 17 (vs. KKR), April 27 (vs. LSG), May 02 (vs. SRH), May 07 (vs. DC), and May 12 (vs CSK).
RR Squad 2024
The inaugural IPL champions had a brilliant mini-auction as they added necessary reinforcements to their squad ahead of the 2024 season.
The Sanju Samson-led unit roped in dynamic Caribbean power hitter Rovman Powell for INR 7.4 Crores besides signing promising talent like South African pacer Nandre Burger (INR 50 Lakhs), uncapped players in the form of Shubham Dubey (INR 5.8 Crores) and Abid Mushtaq (INR 20 Lakh) and veteran English domestic batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore for INR 40 Lakh. The 2022 runners-up also traded Avesh Khan from LSG.
