This will be his first visit to the village after his announcement to adopt it under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna. He plans to undertake various development work in the village at a cost of Rs.2.79 crore under his MP Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) funds.

Tendulkar will interact with farmers, children and youth in the village, 18 km from Gudur town.
