Video: Sachin Tendulkar gets angry at VVS Laxman
In the summer of 1998, Sachin Tendulkar was in the form of his life and when India took on Australia in the final group stage match of the Coca-Cola Cup, he recorded his then best score of 143.
Although the knock wasn’t enough for India to win the match, it helped the Men in Blue reach the final on net run rate. The final, which was held two days later, saw another century from the Little Master and this time, India were victorious.
During his knock in the group stage match, there was one instance when Tendulkar and Laxman were batting together and the former wasn’t exactly pleased as Laxman refused a run. This seemed to be small misunderstanding as the two would later on go on to become great buddies.
The duo would go on to score 3523 Test runs as a partnership.
