Sachin Tendulkar off to Mussoorie for vacation after retirement

Sachin Tendulkar has finally got a break. After retiring from International cricket, India’s legendary batsman, Sachin Tendulkar went off for a vacation to Mussoorie on Wednesday.

According to the airport authorities, Tendulkar, accompanied by his family landed at the Jollygrant Airport in a chartered plane today morning and then headed for the hill station.

Mussoorie is one of  his favourite vacation spots as he has been to this hill station on numerous occasions to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Last year, too, Tendulkar visited Mussoorie with his family after announcing his retirement from One day cricket. Tendulkar would put up Sanjay Narang’s hotel in Mussoorie who is also his business partner.

Last week, Tendulkar bowed out of International cricket in a very emotional farewell at Mumbai. He retired as the most successful batsman in international cricket with 15,921 runs in 200 Tests. In his ODI career, the master batsman piled up 18,426 runs in 463 matches. He is also the only batsman to score a 100 international hundreds.
