Sachin Tendulkar pays tribute to Phillip Hughes
Kolkata, Dec 3 (IANS) Paying a tribute to Phillip Hughes, who died on Thursday after being hit by a bouncer in a Sheffield Shield match at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on November 25, Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar said that the Australian would be "missed".
"Will miss you Phil. Your enthusiasm to learn and drive for perfection was most impressive. #FarewellHughes," tweeted Tendulkar also attaching a photograph of him with Hughes.
His funeral was held on Wednesday at his hometown Macksville, which was attended by thousands, including Indian skipper Virat Kohli and team director Ravi Shastri.
