Sachin Tendulkar presents MI Challengers Gen-X trophies

Mumbai, 15th October: Mumbai Indians Challengers Gen-X Champions, I.E.S Raja Shivaji, B.A.K Swadhyay Bhavan and Shardashram Vidyamandir, reached dizzy heights today as they received their respective trophies from The Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar at Smaaash here today.

 

This simulator based inter-school cricket tournament – powered by Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA), concluded last week with IES Raja Shivaji School and B.A.K Swadhyay Bhavan School triumphing in U-14 and U-16 categories respectively.Shardashram Vidyamandir clinched the Girls U-16 category with victory over Swami Vivekanand International Girls.

Smaaash, a first of its kind interactive entertainment zone, in association with Mumbai Indians played host to this unique tournament which saw more than 45 schools across the city challenge for the shield in U-14 and U-16 category.

 

The Master Blaster, impressed by this futuristic tournament, commented “It’s great to see such intelligent integration of technology with Cricket. I’m a big fan of the Smaaash Cricket Simulator and tournaments like this will go a long way in development of these budding cricketers”

 

Shreyas Dalvi, winner in U-16 category with IES Raja Shivaji and also the Highest Individual Scorer, couldn’t get any happier, “This is a dream come true for me. I was delighted with my performance in this tournament but to get the trophy from Sachin, is the biggest honor possible”
