Sachin Tendulkar thanks his fans for the love and support on the British Airways matter
Sachin Tendulkar has expressed gratitude towards the fans through twitter who came out openly in favour of the Indian legend after the British Airways fiasco.
Widely regarded as probably the best batsman to have played the game, Tendulkar was not happy when his luggage was misplaced by the British Airlines and his family member’s tickets were not confirmed despite the seats being available.
The Mumbaikar expressed his unhappiness over the treatment by a couple of tweets, the British Airways’ twitter handle replied immediately on twitter. They asked Tendulkar for details of his luggage, however, they made a big blunder when they asked the Cricket great for his last name.
A number of cricket and Sachin fans around India sent tweets to the British Airways, confronting them on the matter. The airlines received a lot of flak from all over for their mistake, and as Sachin tweeted not long ago that they have apologised for the matter.
He also thanked all his fans who never thought twice before confronting the airlines on this incident.
Tendulkar is currently playing in the Cricket All Stars in the United States of America.
Previously, Maria Sharapova created a similar fiasco when she was unable to recognise the highest run scorer in the game of cricket after he attended a match in Wimbledon.
