Sachin Tendulkar with a modest exchange on Twitter with Amitabh Bachchan
Sachin Tendulkar, throughout his cricketing career, was known as one of the humble personalities around and retirement hasn’t changed him one bit. The Indian sporting legend was at his modest best after Indian film superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet regarding the two sharing a wall with iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar.
It all started with Bachchan tweeting a picture of a street wall in Ahmedabad which featured Mangeshkar and Tendulkar with him. The legendary actor was very modest and said that he did not deserve to be alongside the other two, referring to them as ‘greats’.

Later in the day, Tendulkar returned the compliment by stating that he was the only person in the image who is now referred to as ‘former’. The 42-year-old, despite being the youngest of the three, is not active professionally in his field anymore.
There is only one guy who is now referred as 'former'! Inspirational and timeless @SrBachchan and @mangeshkarlata https://t.co/4grsl2W2LN

Tendulkar is considered by many to be India’s greatest cricketer – having scored over 15000 runs in both Tests and ODIs. He is the only batsman in history to have scored 100 international centuries.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan and Lata Mangeshkar are also considered to be the greatest Indian personalities in their respective field – i.e acting and playback singing. Interesting, Bachchan is the only one of the trio to have not been awarded the Bharat Ratna yet.
