Stats: Sachin Tendulkar vs Rahul Dravid - The Final Showdown
Sachin Tendulkar‘s Mumbai Indians outwitted Rahul Dravid‘s Rajasthan Royals by 33 runs in the finals of the 2013 Champions League T20 on October 6th, 2013. The T20 match also happened to be the last ever for the Indian legends.
In what turns out to be a startling revelation, while Rahul Dravid has lost all his final matches, Sachin Tendulkar has won all his last matches.
Tendulkar still continues to represent India in Tests. Hence, that particular part has to wait. It is difficult to see the Master Blaster holding the unbeaten streak if he is a part of India’s tour of South Africa (assuming that BCCI gives green signal to the tour).
But if the 40-year-old decides to call time on his career after completing his 200th Test match against West Indies in India, I would not bet my money against the possibilty of it happening.
They were, they are, and they will ever be two very contrasting players.
