Salvi replaces Aaron in Delhi Daredevils squad

New Delhi, Sep 21 – Mumbai bowler Aavishkar Salvi replaced Varun Aaron at Delhi Daredevils after the Jharkhand pacer was advised he will need to have a tonsillectomy which will rule him out of the upcoming Champions League.

The Champions League Twenty20 Technical Committee confirmed the change Thursday.

Salvi, 30, is a right-arm medium bowler who played four ODIs for India in 2003. He has taken seven wickets in as many IPL games for the Delhi Daredevils.

Delhi Daredevils will open its campaign on Oct 13, the opening day of the Group Stage, against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Centurion.
