Shoaib Malik recalled by Pakistan for the T20 series against Zimbabwe
The Pakistani selectors have recalled former Captain Shoaib Malik for the two T20 internationals against Zimbabwe. This will be the first time in six years that an international team will be touring Pakistan after the 2009 terrorist attacks on the Sri Lankan team. Alongside Malik, speedster Mohammad Sami has also been included in the squad which will be led by all-rounder Shahid Afridi.
Uncapped 19-year-old opener Nauman Anwar and former under-19 captain Imad Wasim were the new inclusions. Saad Nasim, Imran Khan and Haris Sohail were all dropped from the team that played against Bangladesh in the one-off T20 recently.
But the biggest news came in the form of Saeed Ajmal who continues to slide down after getting his action remodelled.
